Welcome — Our mission, approach and how to use this site
VividAshram began as a small community place for practice and care. Over time it has grown into a multi-disciplinary sanctuary that blends classical yoga, evidence-aware Ayurveda, meditation training, and community outreach. Our mission is simple: to provide practical, reliable guidance that people can apply in daily life, while keeping ethical standards high for clinical work and community services.
We work with practitioners trained in classical lineages and modern clinical backgrounds. Our teachers and clinicians focus on accessibility, safety, and clarity. Each program — whether a weekend retreat, a 7-day residential immersion, or a clinic consultation — is accompanied by clear documentation: scope of practice, what is included, contraindications, and simple aftercare instructions. Wherever a health claim could be read as medical advice, we include explicit disclaimers and encourage clients to consult licensed physicians.
Practical services and how to book
Our core services are listed under Offerings. Typical steps to engage with us:
- Explore programs — choose a retreat or service and read the full syllabus on its detail page.
- Pre-screening — retreats require a short health questionnaire so teachers can reasonably accommodate limitations.
- Book & pay — bookings are confirmed by email after payment (UPI or manual bank transfer). For donations we issue acknowledgement and receipts on request.
- Arrival & intake — clinical or Ayurvedic services begin with a documented intake; for Panchakarma-style therapies we provide a treatment plan and informed consent forms.
Safety, consent and clinical boundaries
Safety is central. Our clinic practitioners are qualified and we maintain documentation about product composition, preparation and contraindications on the Ayurveda shop pages. If you are taking prescription medication or have a chronic condition, please disclose this during booking — we will refer you to a co-managing physician if necessary. For any therapy with risk (invasive procedures, drug interactions), we require signed informed consent and documented supervision.
Editorial transparency & sources
Articles and guides on this site are authored by staff and invited practitioners. Where a claim relates to health, we provide references or link to public sources (government guidance, peer-reviewed summaries, or classical texts where relevant). Our Blog and News sections present educational content and curated items — for sources, look for links embedded within each article.
Privacy, data & donation transparency
We collect minimal data required to run bookings, consultations and donation receipts. Contact and booking messages are stored securely and retained for administrative purposes. Donation records are itemised and an annual community report is published for donors to audit how funds were used. If you need a specific receipt or tax documentation, please ask via Donate or contact us directly.
How reviewers or human evaluators can verify us
To help human reviewers confirm authenticity we publish: practitioner CVs on About pages, sample consultation PDFs on service pages, clear contact emails for program leads, and an annual community report. If you are reviewing this site, check our public teacher bios, sample product pages in the Ayurveda shop and the admin-provided receipts for donors.
When to contact vs when to seek professional emergency help
Use the Contact form for program bookings, clinic follow-ups, press or volunteer enquiries. For medical emergencies call your local emergency service — do not use this form for urgent care.
We welcome curious learners and cautious sceptics alike. If you would like to verify our offline activity (workshops, clinics, retreat attendance) please request the press kit or event documentation and we will provide verifiable references. For scheduling, program details and practitioner CVs use the links at the top or email info@vividashram.com.
